Grandma’s Chocolate Pie

Thanksgiving has so much to do with traditions – family traditions of recipes made year after year, decade after decade, generation after generation. My Grandma’s Chocolate Pie (to die for!) is one of those recipes! It can be tricky when you want to make some of your favorite recipes to take with you when you aren’t having Thanksgiving at your house – so these recipes are all easily portable – and do not have to be reheated, an added plus, especially when the oven could potentially be very full! Click the orange links below for the recipes:

Scandinavian Bean Salad

This recipe is a delight served with turkey. Trust me on this. When I saw the ingredients, I didn’t try it, heavy sigh. But then I heard OOOH’s and AHHH’s and didn’t want to miss out, that was many years ago and I’ve made it every year since. I use a very small amount of oil and sugar. Taste is up to you… Note to self: NEED A NEW IMAGE ugh!

Cous Cous with Cranberries, Oranges and Pecans

This is beautiful and looks like fall, tastes like Heaven! Everyone loves COUS COUS (tiny pasta) – this is a treat, and a great recipe to pack up and take to someone’s house!

Rustic Apple Tart

This is a good recipe for a small group.

My Grandma’s Chocolate Pie Recipe

If you want the world to absolutely love you and worship the ground you walk on (haha), make this chocolate pie – I have had this recipe for the past many decades – a family tradition – it’s made from scratch, but is quick and easy.

Catch you back here tomorrow!
