The Lowcountry. This is a term that refers to areas of South Carolina a bit south of Charleston, although Charleston is often referred to as “the Lowcountry” – I would say this image is a perfect representation. Marsh, Intracoastal Waterway, grand Live Oak trees, the charm and beauty of days gone by…
I took this photo during one of our walks. This is a short walk from the house. We always love this route, something different. You just have to watch for the Fiddler crabs that run across the road – sometimes this stretch is FULL of them. I am not a runner usually, but you may see me sprint through this area, ha ha.
These historic trees add so much character. This area is full of Live Oak trees. They add a timeless beauty, especially with the Spanish moss (that really isn’t moss at all!).
Happy Saturday – Catch you back here tomorrow!
