The Dogwood trees are in full blown right now and are oh so pretty. Ours is beneath a live oak tree that has been here probably since the 1930’s when the house was built. It’s light colored blooms against the dark trunk of the oak tree make them really stand out, as does the early morning light. So pretty!
Dogwood flowers are so perfectly formed, everything about them is just beautiful. There was a cool article I found last year regarding dogwood blooms and Easter – pretty cool!
