Snowball bushes. Aren’t they magnificent! I took this photo looking up into the tree, which is magnificent all by itself, but OH! The Viburnum blooms with “balls of snow” in late Spring. Viburnum is a plant that can be used as a shrub, tree or hedge. Pretty diverse, I like that!

They sound like they are fast growing and disease resistant… We planted regular (no snowballs) viburnum a few years ago against a fence line. They’re starting to take off this year. The aphids got to them last year, but they are bright green and growing beautifully now – Thank goodness!
