My Mom | Cottage in Port Clyde, ME

 Happy Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day is bittersweet for me. My Mom lives in another state, which is tough… but I will see her soon, so for that I am grateful! Less visits, but we talk often, text, share book ideas, recipes, etc. She’s such a cool woman. I am blessed to have her as a Mom.

I took this photo years ago when we rented a cottage on the ocean in Port Clyde, Maine. It was rustic and right on the ocean. No heat, but plenty of firewood. It was an old cottage that looked like a movie set. It was amazing. I snapped this in an upstairs bedroom. Those cool windows opened out. *Swoon*

Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom, to Fred’s Mom and to all the amazing women in my life who are like Mother-Friends Wishing you a day filled with everything wonderful that you deserve!

I would also like to say Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are a mom, who were mom, who wants to be a mom but hasn’t yet had the chance, to those of you who wanted to be a mom but things didn’t work out, and of course for all the mom’s who have adopted! I pray for a beautiful and peaceful day for you today and every day.
