Today is Friday, the 13th! It’s funny, some people think of this day as an unlucky day. Here’s hoping we all have just the opposite!

Did you know that there is a name for people who have a fear of Friday the 13th? It’s called paraskavedekatriaphobia – go figure!

Tonight there will be a Harvest Moon – As I read on CBSnews.com:

The full moon that occurs closest to the autumnal equinox is called a Harvest Moon. Autumn officially begins on September 23 at 3:50 a.m. EDT.

The moonlight is/was pretty helpful to farmers who are preparing for the season ahead and working late into the night. Pretty cool, eh? The next Harvest Moon isn’t until August 13, 2049! So if you are one who can stay up late I think it’ll be pretty cool to see!

I read a fascinating article about WHY Friday the 13th is considered unlucky… So interesting!

My apologies for those who may have seen this yesterday – operator error! 🙄

Catch you back here tomorrow!
