I love it when you run into an unexpected photo. Something different that catches your eye at the last second and something tells you to snap a quick photo… Something about this makes me so happy! #perhapsiwasinlockdowntoolong #winkwink
I had just gotten out of the shower, my hair was wet and I was walking through the house. The sun was setting and as I walked into the next room I happen to catch my shadow in this beautiful painting by Carol Bass. The panes of the window, the wet hair – I think I will make this a profile pic, ha ha.
I framed my head between the grids of the window – that was fun! Be on the lookout for those unexpected photos to take. They’re everywhere! Often a reflection or shadow that is simply different!
This is what you do when you’re in semi lockdown or self-imposed lockdown, however you want to look at it. We’ve been home for the most part since March 2020 and the arrival of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) so at times I’m in a different mindset… Looking for a different subject (my shadow in a painting) – not to mention trying so many things that I read about like re-growing celery, green onions (both did well, but it’s too hot here to grow celery and the onions grew like weeds but were hollow and odd, but fun until the room had a green onion scent – it was time to move those along). At least it was entertainment!
Until next time…
