This year our hydrangeas have been plentiful. We planted several a few each year and now they’re all going wild! Their beautiful purplish blue color is jaw dropping! We once bought a white hydrangea – what a surprise…
Yes! A surprise when we came outside one day and it had turned purple. What?! I thought a white hydrangea was so unique, I didn’t realize that color had to do with the pH in the soil! “Blue blooms indicate acidic conditions (pH less than 7)“
The good thing is that no matter the color they’re all beautiful! Striking a nice balance between delicate and making a statement. These hydrangeas absolutely glow at dusk.
Until next time…
